Graham HouseArt Deco in SpringlandsOur client approached us with a section on the edge of Springlands overlooking a vineyard to the west with views to the Richmond Ranges and wanted to build a compact 3 bedroom house for her. The client wanted a house that would have an Art Deco feel about it without being a kitsch Art Deco replica. The result is a well laid out home with an open plan kitchen / dining / living opening onto covered verandahs on both the East and the West. A large laundry opening off the kitchen has views of the Wither Hills to the south which are visible from the living areas. Off the end of the laundry is a bathroom with external access to the pool. A large ensuite off the master bedroom provides a sense of luxury and spaciousness in this compactly designed townhouse. Gardens and finishes have been designed to be low allergen.
